ePRINTit SaaS Successfully Completes Independent WCAG 2.2 Level AA Accessibility Evaluation
Willowbrook, Illinois – Today’s Business Solutions (TBS) and ePRINTit USA are pleased to announce that the ePRINTit SaaS Desktop Web application has completed an independent accessibility evaluation and conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards.
The evaluation was performed by Deque Systems, Inc., one of the world’s leading digital accessibility testing organizations. The assessment included both automated and manual testing using industry-recognized accessibility tools, keyboard-only navigation, and assistive technologies, including NVDA screen reader software.
The resulting Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR), based on the VPAT Version 2.5 framework, confirms that ePRINTit SaaS supports WCAG 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2 Level A and Level AA success criteria throughout the user-facing Desktop Web application.
For public libraries, this milestone comes at an important time.
As libraries prepare to meet the U.S. Department of Justice’s new ADA Title II digital accessibility requirements, ePRINTit SaaS provides confidence that patrons of all abilities can securely submit, manage, and release print jobs through an interface designed with accessibility at its core.
The evaluation found that ePRINTit SaaS supports accessible navigation, keyboard operation, screen reader compatibility, color contrast requirements, responsive page layouts, accessible authentication, consistent navigation, error identification, and numerous additional accessibility features required under current WCAG standards.
